Branch 1 Award Nominations

CALL FOR AWARDS NOMINATIONS

Branches are encouraged to annually make the following awards:
¨ Branch Social Worker of the Year
¨ Branch Citizen of the Year
¨ Branch Public Elected Official of the Year
¨ Branch Lifetime Achievement 

 

These awards are to be based on the criteria and nomination process as defined in the awards policy.  Click here to review that policy.  To be considered for an award, complete the nomination form and succinctly answer each of the questions about the nominee.   Support letters are welcome, but not necessary.  Support letters should be emailed to Carol@naswaz.com. Selection of Branch winners will be made by the elected Branch leadership. The Board of Directors will select the Chapter award recipients from the Branch winners.  Please note that the Branch leadership will notify winners of the awards only.  Persons who were nominated but did not receive the award will not be notified by the branch because many of these people are nominated in an anonymous process.  In the event that you notify the nominee of your nomination of him/her for the award, please note that NASW will not notify the nominee regarding the award.   

NOMINATIONS MUST BE RECEIVED BY DECEMBER 31, 2010

* Important note to the person making the nomination -- Only those nominees who are selected as the Branch Award winner will be notified regarding the award.  Not all nominees know that they have been nominated for this award.  As a result, branch volunteers will not send notification to those not selected.  If your nominee knows that you have nominated them, it is important that you communicate the results with that person at the appropriate time.
