Join us this month for the NASWAZ Sierra Vista Social Work Network Brown Bag Lunch Meeting, Thursday, Sept. 28, 2017. Networking 11:30am; Program 12:00 - 1:00pm. The "NASW Code of Ethics" is our topic this month (1 CEU!). 

Learning Objectives include:

1. Purpose of the Code of Ethics; 2. Social Work Core Values/Ethical Principles; and 3. Ethical Standards.

 Rachel Whyte, MSW, served as the Statewide Coordinator of the Healthy Families Arizona Program from 1995 to 2006. Healthy Families Arizona is based on the national Healthy Families America model and has over 20 years of research showing positive child and family outcomes. Previous to those years she worked in public health social work consultation, and medical social work. For the three years prior to her retirement in 2009, she was a program administrator in the Arizona Governor's Office for Children, Youth & Families in the areas of domestic violence, women's workforce and related areas. Rachel is a past President of the Arizona Chapter of the National Association of Social Workers, and a past coordinator of the Sierra Vista Social Work Network.

Jane Lorenz, LCSW, received her MSW in 2009 from Arizona State University and first received her independent clinical license, while working in West Virginia in 2014. She is currently licensed in both West Virginia and Arizona. Her varied experience is with CPS, Hospice, the Arizona State Prison System (Behavioral Health), Veteran’s Health Administration (Behavioral Health) and she is presently working with military families on Fort Huachuca, AZ. She is the current coordinator of the NASW Sierra Vista Social Work Network.

From Tucson travel east on I-10. Take Exit 302 State Route 90 south toward Fort Huachuca/ Sierra Vista. At first light south of Huachuca City turn left to stay on Hwy. 90. At next light (About 1.7 miles) turn right on to 7th Street. Continue about 9/10 mile to light and turn left on to Fry Blvd. (Enterprise Car Rental will be on your right). Travel east on Fry Blvd. about 1.1 miles and turn right at light onto El Camino Real (just past Toyota Dealership on right). Keep straight thru Stop sign at Wilcox Blvd. Turn right into first driveway, Legacy Foundation Outreach Center is first building on left. From east on State Route 90 continue west onto Fry Blvd. (Valero Gas Station will be on right). Continue about 9/10 mile to light and turn left onto El Camino Real (as you turn left Toyota dealership will be on your right). At first Stop sign stay straight across Wilcox Blvd., turn right into first driveway, Legacy Foundation Outreach Center is first building on left. From South on State Route 92 turn left on Fry Blvd. at Valero Gas Station. Continue west on Fry Blvd. about 9/10 mile to light and turn left onto El Camino Real (Toyota dealership will be on your right as you turn left). At first Stop sign stay straight across Wilcox Blvd., turn right into first driveway, Legacy Foundation Outreach Center is first building on left. Upon entering the Outreach Center turn right at reception desk, continue down hall to meeting room.
