2017 NASWAZ Conference Call for Presentations

Request for Proposals
NASWAZ requests applications from workshop presenters interested in offering 1.5 - hour presentations covering a broad range of topics related to clinical and non-clinical practice issues for Arizona social workers. This year's theme will be "Social Workers Stand Up," with a focus on populations in Arizona. NASWAZ will collect presentation submissions through July 7, 2017. Our Conference Planning Committee will review the submissions and notify workshop presenters within 2-weeks after the July deadline.

Conference Audience
Social workers from the Arizona Chapter of NASW (licensed and unlicensed) in various practice settings.
Application Requirements
• Provides advanced level themes taught by licensed experts. 
• Offers curriculum that was rated highly by past audience(s). 
• Includes content specific to treatment modalities (if clinical theme is chosen). 
• Include how content may apply to Macro level social work. 
• Panels are limited to 2 speakers and must be well coordinated.
• 1.5-hour workshop.
Application Instructions  
• Provide information as requested and in line with Arizona Board of Behavioral Health Examiners rules for continuing education.
• Attach a resume for each speaker teaching the workshop.
• Complete the online form by the deadline.
Application Deadline 
• Please submit before the completed application form below before 5:00 PM Arizona Time on Friday, July 7, 2017
Presenter Benefits/Travel 
• Selected presenters will attend the NASWAZ Conference (including the awards luncheon) for free. 
• Selected presenters will receive a 20% discount off future workshops with NASWAZ if taken within one year of the Conference date. 
• The chapter reimburses presenters for approved and negotiated expenses.
