Request for Conference Proposals through
July 15, 2018

The NASWAZ Social Work Conference is a formal meeting of people with a shared interest, typically takes place at a convention center or a summit. Attendees go to our annual Conference to be learn new information, network, and engage with professional colleagues. The Conference focus is to learn new skills and knowledge in the profession.

NASWAZ requests applications from workshop presenters interested in offering 1.5 - hour presentations covering a broad range of topics related to clinical and non-clinical practice issues for Arizona social workers. This year's theme will be "Social Workers. Leaders. Advocates. Champions.," with a focus on populations in Arizona. NASWAZ will collect presentation submissions through July 15, 2018. Our Conference Planning Committee will review the submissions and notify workshop presenters within 2-weeks after the deadline. Click HERE to apply.

Request for Conference Proposals through
June 15, 2018

The 77th Annual American Society of Group Psychotherapy and Psychodrama (ASGPP) Conference: "DISCOVERING NEW WORLDS, Transformational Advances in Psychodrama, Sociometry, and Group Psychotherapy" invites you to send in your proposals to present now through June 15, 2018

Proposals must:

  • Be submitted through the online system via the ASGPP web site. Proposals sent by email, fax or any other form will NOT be accepted.

  • Meet stated criteria to be considered (number of words/characters, clarity of writing, learning objectives).

  • Clearly state your goals and methods and inform the reader of what your workshop will cover. We strongly suggest you review our proposal submission guidelines (link is below).

The Arizona Council of Human Service Providers Member Conference is is inviting you to submit a proposal for one of our 20 breakout sessions.  Breakout sessions will be held during the afternoon of November 29th and morning of November 30th and will be about 60 minutes in length

We are interested in workshops in the following areas:

·         Behavioral Health System Changes in Treatment, Service, and Payment Models

·         Behavioral Health, Brain Science, and Diagnostics of the Future

·         Child Welfare Services, Foster Care, Foster Parent Training

·         Compliance and Quality Assurance/Improvement

·         Contracting with Health Plans and Private Insurers

·         Coordinating Child Welfare and Behavioral Health Services to Better Serve Families

·         Mergers and Acquisitions

·         Population Health, Reaching Underserved Populations, Social Determinants of Health

·         Prevention Services in Mental Health, Substance Use Disorder, and Child Welfare

·         Substance Use Disorder Treatment in light of the Opioid Epidemic

·         Suicide Prevention

·         Thriving under new payment models with new payers

·         Trauma Informed Care

·         Workforce Development, Succession Planning, Staff Recruitment, Retention, and Performance Improvement
